1. WWE Is Releasing A New DVD With Documentary About Him
It was confirmed this week that WWE is releasing a Macho Man DVD complete with a documentary about his life as a wrestler. It's expected to be released this November. If history has taught us anything it's that when WWE does those kinds of things it usually opens up the door for other business to be done too. In other words, it could lead to a Hall of Fame announcement soon after. This wouldn't be the first time that WWE released a Macho Man DVD because they released a "Macho Madness" DVD about him in 2009 that featured only matches and promos from his career. The documentary will be the first of its kind. If you've seen WWE documentaries in the past then you know how awesome they are. It will be sad not to hear from him since he passed away, but we will likely be able to hear from past rivals that worked with him and current stars that grew up idolizing the man. The documentary will likely do a great job of explaining how important Savage was to those fans that may not have seen him and to those of us that remember just how special of a performer he was. There's no question that Savage should have been in WWE's Hall of Fame years ago. It's time for WWE to right that wrong by inducting him into the 2015 Hall of Fame.
