Also from the UK is long-time WWE wrestler and trainer, William Regal, who can count CM Punk and Daniel Bryan as two of his protégés. Everybody's favourite gimmick at the moment is undoubtedly Preston's own Bad News Barrett. He's cocky, blunt, honest, and damn funny. Since his character was repackaged as the WWE's resident bearer of bad news, Barrett has seen his stock soar within the WWE. He is the current holder of the Intercontinental Championship, and receives raucous cheers from the crowd, despite portraying a heel character. Barrett debuted for WWE as the leader of the Nexus, a storyline that had great promise, but eventually fell into insignificance. However, Barrett has bounced back from this disappointment ten-fold! His in-ring arsenal is heavy-hitting and entertaining, and it seems he has finally found his niche in which to flourish in the WWE. Now that's some good news! Also from the UK is the current Diva's Champion, Paige, who is from Norwich, and the NXT Champion, Adrian Neville, who is billed from Newcastle. Paige was born into a wrestling family and made her in-ring debut at the young age of 13. She frequently competed in tag team matches with her mother, and at the impressive age of 21, she captured the Divas Championship from AJ Lee the night after Wrestlemania 30, making her the youngest Divas Champion of all time. Adrian Neville has been wrestling in NXT for 18 months now, and defeated Bo Dallas to capture his first NXT Championship at NXT Arrival. Speculation is rife that Adrian Neville is one of the next superstars to receive a call up to the WWE roster, meaning "The Man That Gravity Forgot" can leave the WWE Universe in awe every week of his impressive acrobatic and high-flying offense!
