7 Match Review From WWE House Show In Brighton, UK
3. AJ Lee Beat Paige & Nikki Bella In 6:26
This started out as a tag match, with Brie Bella (who came out doing the Daniel Bryan Yes! chant and hand gestures) as AJs partner, but Nikki enforced the stipulations of their match at Hell in a Cell and demanded that Brie not compete in the match, turning it into a handicap match. Hey, at least some match stipulations are being adhered to. Paige received a great ovation from her compatriots despite being a heel, and hugged her family who were at ringside (theyre pretty much doing the whole tour with her). Her mother, Sweet Saraya, her father, Ricky Knight and her brothers Zak & Roy (The UK Hooligans tag team) were all there and she picked up and hugged her infant niece and nephew as well. It was a really touching moment, and you could see how close the family are to one another. Paige and AJ started out with some smooth wrestling as a CM Punk chant started and ended within a few seconds, before Paige tagged out to Nikki. Paiges involvement in the match was somewhat limited, and the crowd broke into a We Want Paige chant as their patience wore thin. A short match ended with Brie distracting Nikki, who was rolled up from behind by AJ for the win.
