4. The WWE Rulebook Is Already A Joke

In January, WWE released a book entitled The Official WWE Book of Rules (And How to Break Them). If it wasn't written with tongue pushed firmly in cheek, it was with fingers plunged deep into eyeballs - for WWE rules are broken with more frequency than JBL runs his gamut of commentary cliches.

Predictably enough, one amorphous rule was broken within a month. On Monday's RAW, Stephanie McMahon implored Bayley to relinquish her recently captured RAW Women's Championship. To Steph's mind, Sasha Bank's interference tainted her win over Charlotte, which might have made a lick of sense if she was a babyface bastion of virtue. But she isn't. She's a heel - one who orchestrated similar, countless screwy finishes on Seth Rollins' behalf in 2015.

Dafter still, the Authority faction she co-headed stripped Daniel Bryan of his WWE Championship following the events of Night Of Champions 2013. Triple H accused Daniel Bryan of conspiring with referee Scott Armstrong to deliver a fast count. It was all a ruse, naturally, but those in a position of power exercised it to dethrone Bryan.

Stephanie demonstrably had the power to simply strip Bayley of her title - but where is the sadistic, here's an excuse to be an utterly unbearable carcinogen for ten minutes in that?

At least Sasha Banks was scripted to tell Steph to "shut up". Scrap everything else - that is the most insane development of the week.
