3. Seth Rollins

Is there a more exciting in-ring performer on the WWE roster right now than Seth Rollins? The current WWE Intercontinental Champion has been on a tear all year, and his performance levels have only risen since winning the prestigious title at WrestleMania 34. The longer he keeps having good matches with the strap, the better it is for everyone.

Rollins stated this past Monday on RAW that his focus was on making the Intercontinental Championship the most prestigious on the flagship show, but for how long will that be the case? Rollins has shown in the past that he is willing to do anything for glory, and that past obsession could easily rise up again. The Architect held two titles at once way back in 2015, why not try to do so again?

Rollins has also proven in the past that he can be a match for Lesnar in the ring, albeit a match in a different sort of way. He has the athleticism to flip out of suplexes and the speed to hit and run, presenting The Beast Incarnate with a very different challenge to the behemoths he has largely faced during his 400 plus day reign. Seth Rollins likes to refer to himself as The Man, but he could yet prove to be the man to defeat Brock Lesnar.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
