7 Reasons Why Brock Lesnar Is The New Undertaker

3. When He Sells, It Truly Means Something

While only 6'4" and 275 pounds, Brock Lesnar wrestles like a performer a foot taller and twice as large. In understanding the value of how, when and why to sell being assaulted by an opponent, he "gets" being a larger-than-life persona in a manner similar to the last WWE giant to "really" get it, The Undertaker. In the four years since Brock Lesnar has returned to WWE, the performers who have gotten in the most impactful offensive maneuvers on Brock Lesnar is an incredibly small list - John Cena, Triple H and Roman Reigns. In all three cases, those maneuvers came after those wrestlers took an incredible beating from "The Beast," and in all cases the three wrestlers named had to match (then exceed) the damage Lesnar had levied onto them in order to be victorious. The ability to turn a pro wrestling match into a battle between gladiators or superheroes is something truly special that in understanding the how, when, where and why of selling, few truly master. In being the first since The Undertaker to master the art of "selling as a big man," Lesnar can easily replace The Undertaker in the position he occupies as a performer in WWE.
