7 Reasons WWE Shouldn't Turn Randy Orton Face

4. Much Like Cena, He's Booked Too Strong As A Face

A big problem that existed during Orton's babyface run from 2010 to the summer of 2013 was that he was booked too strong. He had a lot of matches with young heels that he could have lost to make them bigger stars, but that didn't really happen. The only time Orton really put somebody over during his previous face turn was when he lost the World Title clean to Mark Henry. The rest of the time he was beating the likes of Christian, Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes regularly. It seemed like he kept going back to those matches with Barrett & Rhodes as if WWE thought it was the right time to put one of them over Orton, but then they rarely did it. A lot of fans complain about how WWE books Cena. He wins almost all of his matches and does so a lot of time in dominant fashion. The same thing happened when Orton was a face too. Vince McMahon really loves his top guys and will always try to protect them as much as possible. If Orton went face, it would probably happen again.
