7 Short-Lived WWE Shows You Forgot Existed

4. WWF Excess

Long before the WWE Network made the company's classic archive widely available to fans, the WWE universe had to rely on Excess to gift them with a blast from the past.

The short-lived talk show debuted in mid-2001 and was hosted by Jonathan Coachman and Trish Stratus (who was later replaced by Terri Runnels). It showcased some of the company's classic matches and, due to the interactive format of the show, viewers could actually suggest vintage matches for the program to air.

WWE predictably decided to rebrand the show towards the end of its run, changing its format so that it would become yet another recap show. The new version, Late Night Excess, recapped SmackDown during its first hour and Raw during its second. Unsurprisingly, the show was cancelled less than a month later.
