7 Steps To Make Seth Rollins The Face Of WWE
1. Seth Rollins Defeats Roman Reigns At WrestleMania 35
And so, we arrive at WrestleMania 35 in the Meadowlands. If all goes according to plan, Seth will have ridden a wave of momentum, whereas Roman Reigns will have built up resentment and hatred for months as the heel champion. The two men who have spent the years as allies, enemies, and brothers will finally meet for a definitive one-on-one clash at WrestleMania.
And like at WrestleMania 31 four years prior, Seth gets the curb stomp on Roman Reigns and defeats him for the Universal title, only this time, it's as the triumphant face, and as the new "Guy" in WWE.
While I'm sure most of this won't be note for note (after all, WWE seem to thrive on defying popular fantasy booking), it's my hope that the company recognizes, at the very least, they have the pieces in place to make the organic face of the company they've always wanted.
Seth Rollins, quite simply, is the guy. It took him a while to find his stride after returning from injury, but it's back with a vengeance. WWE would be fools not to capitalize on it and see if he can captain the ship into the next decade.
