7 Things WWE Fans Need To Know About Dana Brooke

1. She Had No Prior Wrestling Experience

After successfully taking part in a two-week tryout in Tampa (Florida), Dana Brooke was offered a WWE developmental contract in 2013.

She reported to the Performance Center, and when she got there her only wrestling experience to date came in an Ohio basement decades prior under the watchful eye of a manager called The Wizard.

So Dana Brooke had zero wrestling experience going into. Whilst hiring performers with no experience isn't anything new for WWE, it is nonetheless becoming rarer and rarer as the company sources more talent from the well-populated independent seas.

Brooke's development from greener-than-grass rookie to the performer she is today is testament to the importance and qualities that the Performance Center brings to the table.

Under the watchful eyes of Sara Amato (Sara Del Rey) and Sarah Stock (Sarita), Brooke gets the finest coaching available. She's also been lucky to work closely with refined talent like Emma and Asuka, further proof that working with the best will rub off eventually.

With a physique that turns heads in WWE combined with a natural charisma, a never-say-die work ethic and her head screwed on when it comes to fitness and diet, the future looks particularly bright for Dana Brooke.

Ashley Sebera has come a long way from emergency surgery on a broken ankle and performing in bikini contests.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
