7 Things WWE Must Do With NXT On USA Network

3. Present It As A Genuine Third Brand

NXT has been presented as a third brand for years now. Ask most casual fans what they think of it though and they'd be more inclined to palm it off as WWE's "developmental territory" or "feeder league". OK, this isn't meant as an insult, and it's never said with rolled eyes, but it does limit the brand's potential.

That potential is far greater than being a mere farming system.

If WWE want NXT on USA to work, then they're gonna' have to ditch terminology like, 'Wrestler A has been promoted from NXT to Raw/SmackDown'. It must stand on its own merits as a bonafide third brand that's on par with those happening on Monday and Tuesday nights. Plus, it must hold onto talent and actually draft some from other shows in the long run too.

NXT should be promoted as a place talent from the other brands would love to compete. There's no shame in someone like Adam Cole, Candice LeRae, Johnny Gargano or several others sticking around on NXT for good. That shouldn't be seen as stagnation for their careers.
