7 UFC Fights Brock Lesnar Could Take Next

6. Andrei Arlovski

A little bit of a wild card choice, but if no other suitable opponents are available if and when Brock Lesnar returns to the octagon, then former UFC champion Andrei Arlovski could be an interesting opponent.

Arlovski is a decorated striker who rejuvenated his career after joining the famed Jackson-Winklejohn team in New Mexico (home to Jon Jones, Cowboy Cerrone, and a host of others). Once criticised for a "glass jaw" he has become an elusive, well-rounded fighter. He sits ranked 6th in the heavyweight division at the moment, meaning he's two spots up from Lesnar's most recent opponent, Mark Hunt. And he carries with him the prestige of being an ex-champion, as well as having fought pretty much all the best heavyweights in the world.

Except Lesnar. Which makes this match very interesting. Could Arlovski manage to stuff the takedowns of the powerful Lesnar? Could Brock avoid the striking of Arlovski? While not as powerful as Hunt, Arlovski has a more varied arsenal, mixing in knees, high kicks, and pinpoint accuracy.

He's a dangerous fighter, but at this level, they all are.
