7 UFC Fights Brock Lesnar Could Take Next

4. Junior Dos Santos

Back in his original UFC run, Brock Lesnar was expected to face Junior Dos Santos, one of the best strikers in the heavyweight division, following a coaching stint on The Ultimate Fighter. The two did appear on the show, and actually appeared to get along amicably, but after a recurrence of Lesnar's diverticulitis, the bout was called off. Dos Santos instead fought and defeated Shane Carwin, and would go on to beat Cain Velasquez for the UFC heavyweight championship, only to lose it back to him a few fights later.

Lesnar, meanwhile, returned from his illness to fight Alistair Overeem, a fight that was his last in the UFC until this past weekend. Immediately following Lesnar's UFC 200 win, Junior Dos Santos stepped up and called the former champion out.

This is a fight that would sell like hotcakes for the UFC, but could be very, very dangerous for Lesnar. "Cigano" is a striker with heavy hands, and while he has struggled with wrestlers (namely Cain Velasquez), he remains one of the deadliest heavyweights in the division. He's a faster man than Hunt, and won't be as quick to tire.

On the flip side, he has definitely shown struggles when the fight goes to the ground, and hasn't shown much development in that area. It's a fight Lesnar could win, but it's almost a coin toss, and that's if Lesnar really buckles down and hones his skills.
