7 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dark (Jun 22)

Ups...

7. Christopher Daniels/Frankie Kazarian vs. Musa/David Ali

While essentially a standard SoCal Uncensored Dark workout with smooth, solid action and impeccable fundamentals, this was a shade above the usual quality level, with opponents Musa and David Ali showing increased range beyond their basic comeback spots. They were fun to watch, justifying the typical pseudo squash layout before the Best Meltzer Ever put Ali away.

Excalibur and Taz's commentary brought news, too. SCU isn't splitting, but Kaz and Daniels will be focusing on the tag division while Scorpio Sky embarks upon another singles run, hence why they aren't always appearing as a trio at the moment. This makes sense on every level, particularly as Kaz and Daniels are the more tenured tandem. Let's see what comes of it.
