7 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (May 7)

1. Jimmy Uso’s Return

Finally, having both Usos back in the mix as part of SmackDown's tag division will be a huge boost long-term. Their skills have been missed for well over a year on that side of things, and they could feasibly have stunning matches with The Mysterios, Street Profits, Alpha Academy, Dirty Dawgs and more over the next 12 months.

For now though, Jimmy wants to free his brother.

The returning sibling seemed happy to see Roman Reigns at first, but that didn't last long. Jimmy stood up to Roman's "acknowledge me" bullsh*t and encouraged his brother to the same. We'll see how long his resistance lasts, but it's a good start. He shouldn't be 100% sold on Roman's intentions.

The fact WWE refused to ignore recent history was another step in the right direction. They re-aired footage from last October's Hell In A Cell pay-per-view and used that to justify Jimmy's defiance. As usual for Reigns and company, this was a solid piece of business.
