7 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dynamite (September 27 - Results & Review)

1. The Champion's Plate Remains Full...

...and yet we're the ones that remain well fed.

MJF had a busy night on Dynamite, but - and this remains good practice - featuring performers more than once on the standard AEW telecast remains a vital production choice compared to the era of every wrestler having clearly-defined and boxed-off periods for themselves with nothing else seeping out the sides.

'The Salt Of The Earth' learned some important lessons on friendship ahead of almost punching Adam Cole to his briny death, and put the teachings into practice when his injured tag team partner left to convalesce alongside Roderick Strong and The Kingdom.

Before he had time to think any more about that, Jay White made a surprising interjection, and the two had a red hot exchange that veered just the right side of a burial of 'The Switchblade' before the Bullet Club Gold boss battled past "tofu" chants to hit the AEW Champion with a few hard truths of his own.

With the war of words still hanging in the air, Dynamite went off the air with White getting attacked by several masked figures including one in MJF's trademark Devil mask. MJF swore that his new enemy had "no idea what he was capable of", but is he capable of this? No, but the frame-job from somebody is a cool cliffhanger extending well beyond Sunday's pay-per-view.`
