7 Ups & 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE Backstage (Nov 19)
2. Booby Prizefighter
Like WWE's main roster itself, Backstage is often good in spite of itself. The shiny floor show has thus far tried to marry up the genuine concerns of the fanbase at large with a product they're being paid to put over, but Booker T's personal takes in particular stretched the premise beyond being believable.
His argument that Kevin Owens had had a good week after an okay match with Drew McIntyre went to a non-finish and a talking to from Triple H revealed the author's hand on his shoulder.
The former WCW Champion may well be a huge fan of the 'Prizefighter' and keen to see him bounce back from yet another needless drop down the card in 2019, but this wasn't the week to credibly argue his case.
