7 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (March 22 - Results & Review)
1. As Lifeless A Build Up As Possible
Right, so Kevin Owens and Randy Orton are warming up for a three-way with Logan Paul by playing temporary tag partners in the short-term. Yay? Kev lined up a bout for them vs. Pretty Deadly on next week's SmackDown. Gah. This whole things feels wrong. Again, it would've been preferable had Randy been challenging LP solo.
Sorry, KO, but it's true.
Owens is third wheeling like crazy here. Look, everyone knows the actual Triple Threat will be solid in-ring, but the build towards it has been shakier than a sh*tting dog. Now Kevin is getting involved with yet another tag-team for...reasons. Why? Why, why, why? This is unbelievably tepid.
PD aren't even involved with Paul, meaning they've been plucked out of the blue to go up against his challengers without much context. This is the kind of tag bout AEW would set up for a random Rampage, not something you want from WWE during WrestleMania season.
