7 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (May 19)
1. Pointless, Pointless, Pointless!
Maybe your writer should be happy that LA Knight and Rick Boogs won't be a full-time tag after all, but WWE rushed through this story at an alarming rate. Gee, it's almost like they didn't think it was all that interesting. Why even book it in the first place then?! The whole thing was pointless to begin with.
Creative has been consistently missing with LA since his feud vs. Bray Wyatt ended, and that was at the turn of the year! It's obvious to everyone watching that he's far too talented to be working this low-rent muck. Also, such 'Z' list stuff is a total waste of The Street Profits. They moved over to SmackDown for this?
Surely not.
Nothing about this match-come-segment clicked. Knight turning on Boogs after a cup of coffee as pals isn't especially interesting, and there will be limited interest in the pair as rivals. Plus, again, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins are awkwardly hanging around the story for reasons nobody cares to explain.
