6. This Could Work For Priest & Truth

Hmm, this writer has been on and off skeptical about Damian Priest and R-Truth eventually ruling the tag-team division, but anything would be better than what we’ve had going on with The Wyatts and MFTs. Besides, Priest and Truth as an odd couple tag with comedic flourishes could be positive for both of them. Damian, in particular, has had nothing off note going on for a while, so he arguably needs to start enjoying his work again.

Special mention to Los Garza as well; Angel and Berto are constantly overlooked, but they’re a really solid pairing who always work hard regardless of who they’re inside the ring with. It'd be nice to see them get some flowers someday, because they richly deserve praise behind the curtain and a few more showings in front of it. Those lads know their stuff, and they play their role to a fine art without complaint.

As it was, this match was a breath of fresh air in SmackDown’s tag division. The sooner WWE gets over The Wyatt Sicks vs. MFTs the better. Send them packing to Main Event to squabble over lanterns, or something, if you need to. Just keep 'em away from the bigger shows and let the Priest and Truth combo work some tasty bouts vs. Los Garza, Fraxiom, Motor City Machine Guns and more.

Hell, there's even scope for a comedy feud like Priest and Truth vs. The Miz and Danhausen in the future. Again, pretty much anything would be considered a vast improvement on what's been happening in the division lately.
