7 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (March 12)
6. A Fun Eight-Man
WWE fans know what they're getting when the promotion announces an eight-man tag. Peeps have watched enough of these over the years to realise that they'll be all-action, end with a finisher train and probably be forgotten in a few weeks.
There wasn't really anything at stake here, but everyone involved worked like there was, and that helped a lot. The babyface side (comprised of The Street Profits, Rey and Dominik Mysterio) had bags of energy, and there was a great pace throughout. That only dropped for a bit so the heels (Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, Chad Gable and Otis) could get some heat on Montez Ford.
Even that was worth it for the hot tag to Rey.
The faces were the right winners here as well, and it's cool that Ford pinned Roode. Now, The Profits can get another SmackDown Tag-Team Title shot, which is good considering they're the only full-time face tag on the roster. This was an all-round cracking piece of business.
