7 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Nov 11)

6. MJF's Privilege

MJF was the star of last night's Inner Circle Induction Ceremony, which wisely stuck to a shorter runtime than the recent Town Hall Meeting.

'The Salt of the Earth' was phenomenal here. Wonderfully insincere as he feigned emotion, he spoke on the long, hard road to get to where he is today, having struggled by on a paltry gift of just one million dollars from his father. That "pressure," he said, had made him a diamond - something you 9-to-5ers could never handle.

"I don't even know who Drake is! I started from the bottom, but now I'm here," was the line of the night, after Chris Jericho had defused beef between MJF and Oritz by telling the Proud and Powerful man to make it work. Finally, MJF wormed his way further into Jericho's good graces by presenting tickets for the whole crew to hit Las Vegas next week.

The Sammy Guevara/MJF dynamic continues to rule, too. Sammy claimed he didn't get an invite to the ceremony, hence his late arrival, but MJF disagreed, handing him a Vegas ticket anyway. "It's on me," he said, never more domineering.
