7 Ups & 7 Downs From AEW All Out 2022

3. That Tag Title Fire

All Out was a win for the traditional doubles ranks too.

This is the best that Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland have looked as tag champs. Arguably, AEW should've called an audible and put those belts on The Acclaimed (Chicago really wanted to see it), but it's difficult to dump on the match. That's especially true for the second hall, which was straight up awesome.

Max Caster and Anthony Bowens will grab hold of those straps at some point, so nobody should start worrying quite yet. Also, 'Swerve In Our Glory' can stick around a little longer if they're gonna produce the goods on major pay-per-views like they did on Sunday night.

Perhaps the only downer from this entire segment was that unwanted scissor action between Lee and Billy Gunn post-match. The live crowd didn't care for that. Maybe they were still upset that The Acclaimed didn't come out as new champs.

Excellent effort all-round.
