7 Ups & 8 Downs From WWE's Road To WrestleMania 38

Ups...

7. Raw’s Tag-Team Scene

SmackDown's tag ranks, other than The Usos, are a mess. On a more cheerful note, the Raw scene is a weekly blessing that features no less than three excellent duos who consistently put on good matches when they're given time. Oh yes, RK-Bro, Alpha Academy and The Street Profits all rule.

Special mention for Chad Gable too - he's come into his own as the leader of Alpha alongside Otis ("SHOOOOOOOSH!"), and the pair deserved their short run as Raw Tag Champs. Fingers crossed that wasn't a one-off, because they've got way more to offer WWE's doubles division than that.

Elsewhere, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins have been showing a much-needed harder edge, and the Randy Orton/Riddle combo is one of WWE's most over acts generally. Hardly a week flies past without some combination of these six dudes putting on a match worth seeing.

More of this, please.
