7 Ups And 1 Downs From Last Night's NXT (18 March)

7. As Good As A Rest, Again

Triple H Tom Phillips

Now I said last week that moving NXT to the Performance centre for one week only was a lovely idea because, in wrestling, there's not really much room for variety like this. With no off-season or real downtime, things get a bit monotonous.

By and large, it's the same show, with the same faces, the same set, the same theme tune, and near-identical looking arenas. That's why we love it when PPVs have special sets, because it at least looks a little different. A change is as good as a rest, I said, and I'm going to stick to it here even if in this case it's not... strictly... true.

Tom Phillips and Triple H stood in front of a green-screen is not good broadcasting, but given the circumstances, it's all we can really ask for. If nothing else, it's more of that variety I mentioned, and we might have to get used to it.
