7 Ups And 2 Downs From Last Night’s WWE NXT (Mar 30)

6. Coming Soon To An Arena Near You

Once again, NXT used a clip package to hype up the debut of Shinsuke Nakamura, but this week, they threw some in-ring action into the mix. With still shots from Ring of Honor and videos from recently-announced WWE collaborator Revolution Pro Wrestling, fans who haven't seen "The King of Strong Style" in action finally got a peek. Nakamura's battles with the likes of Big Damo may not be the most famous or heralded matches of his career, but viewers were still able to see the former IWGP Intercontinental Champion dominate the ring, hit the Boma Ye, and win over a crowd. Also, they played the video of Nakamura that William Regal debuted on the show two weeks ago, and for the first time, there was no crowd noise, so what he was saying was actually audible. That was pretty cool.
