5. Li-ve It Alone Now

This was not a good match, and the short runtime it was afforded made it pretty apparent that nobody expected it to be. Xia Li and Aliyah feel inexplicably linked in NXT presently and yet they're still to put on something remotely interesting inside the ring.

But regardless, a story has been told here.

Xia Li busts open Aliyah's nose (albeit this was worked), then Aliyah returns and takes her out of the ladder match at ""TakeOver"", before the pair finally have a singles match free from distraction and Li, the stronger, more talented, more over of the two, emerges as a clear winner.

It's not anything to get excited over but it at least means Li can hopefully move on to something more substantial now. As for Aliyah, there's definitely something there - and she looked alright against Natalya recently - but she needs time to get her work up to the same level as her personality.
