7 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (August 27)

Downs...

5. Telegraphing Things?

If we’re being upfront here, The Undertaker has had Triple H’s number throughout their careers.

Taker has defeated The Game at three WrestleManias and dominated the vast majority of their meetings. In 16 one-on-one televised matches, Triple H has defeated Undertaker only three times.

So it’s understandable that WWE legends and Hall-of-Famers like Booker T, Diamond Dallas Page, Ric Flair, Big Show, Mick Foley and Jeff Jarrett all picked Taker to win their “last-ever” match at Super Show-Down in October. Only Christian and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin picked Helmsley to win.

With Triple H being the underdog, does that mean he’s going to finally get his big win? He’s laid down in three WrestleManias, so he’s certainly earned the right, but is that how it’ll go down? Did WWE telegraph it by having so many legends and HOFers saying he was going to lose?

Not a huge negative, but it just felt like they were setting the table for an underdog story, which is a bit silly.
