7. ‘Thank You Sheamus!’

Enzo Amore has gotten a lot of praise in this column for his mic work as a hype man and as an antagonist.

But lately, Enzo has crossed more into the territory of just being a nuisance as a presumed face. He’s become a sh**-stirrer in feuds with Rusev and now Sheamus & Cesaro who then hides behind Big Cass for protection. As long as that’s the formula, then it works pretty well.

Monday was no different. After winning their #1 contender’s match against Sheamus & Cesaro, Enzo couldn’t resist and got on the mic to deride the Swiss Superman, repeating over and over that they had the kryptonite for him. And then Sheamus came outta nowhere to Brogue Kick him into La-La Land.

Better yet, the fans responded by chanting “Thank you Sheamus!” so even they got it and were annoyed with Enzo’s routine.
