7 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Feb 20)

1. Hollow Threats

Dear Lord, please make the burgeoning feud between Raw commissioner and general manager go away. Thanks, the fans.

Monday was yet another installment of Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley sniping at each other, with Steph belittling Mick, and the GM standing up to her. But then, Stephanie went a step further, suggesting that Mick “be careful… (she) wouldn’t want (him) to have an accident.”

Are you freakin’ serious? Stephanie is the damn commissioner of Raw (despite Mick’s T-shirt saying otherwise). She hired Foley. If she has a problem with him not toeing the party line, then fire him. Jesus, it’s that simple. She doesn’t need to issue a veiled threat or have hired goons beat him up. Fire him and hire a lackey who will do your bidding. It’s not like they’re co-GMs (perish the thought) where she can’t can him.

The fact that Stephanie likes to throw her weight around as boss so much but then won’t fire a subordinate who is insubordinate makes her look like an incompetent boss. And it makes us roll our eyes at this entire storyline.
