Maybe longtime wrestling viewers are just so used to it, but it’s just an accepted fact that babyfaces are idiots. They always fall for the heels’ deceptions.

So when a supposed babyface in Kevin Owens calls out the trope of teaming with a supposed tweener in Seth Rollins resulting in a 3-on-1 beatdown, it’s just baffling – and refreshing. KO has repeatedly called BS on Rollins’ insistence that he isn’t in cahoots with AOP. Owens also has refused to partner with Rollins against the Authors of Pain, noting that they’ll just jump him together.

It’s great to see someone who have that “everyman” quality voicing exactly what fans are thinking every time this sort of situation arises.
