7 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE Raw (Dec 9)
3. Black Delivers ‘Ooooh’ Moment
Sometimes, you don’t need dozens of impactful strikes to make an impact.
Having his TLC match against Buddy Murphy just been made official, Aleister Black squared off against Akira Tozawa in a match that was a lot more grounded, with the two trading armbars and headlocks. Black showed off his speed and calm demeanor, until Tozawa tossed him to the floor.
Akira followed with a dive, but Black hit a perfectly timed jumping knee, drawing a reaction from the fans. He immediately followed it with a Black Mass and a huge “Ooooh!” from the crowd for the win.
It was a simple and effective display, luring fans in with a spirited but grounded display before hitting the high-impact stuff.
