The last time Seth Rollins turned heel, he told fans that he didn’t owe us an explanation why he killed The Shield.

Monday night, Rollins turned heel again, but this time, he delivered a snarling promo where he lashed out at fans for turning on him despite him killing himself in the ring. The Beast Slayer demanded to know what fans wanted from him, as he worked every night, worked hurt, beat Brock Lesnar twice and still found fans booing him.

In a nice moment, Rollins said he was pushing back against the fans, and that their negativity toward him had pushed him to turn on them. The fans had delivered a self-fulfilling prophecy to turn him toward AOP and to team up with the duo.

And of course, the setup to the promo was a brutal curbstomp to Kevin Owens on the concrete backstage after a nice reveal in AOP’s van.
