7 Ups And 9 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Feb 1)
6. Treading Water
Its never a good sign when a feud that should be over and didnt really set the world on fire in the first place continues. The Raw preview column noted that now that Kalisto had defeated Alberto Del Rio in two of three matches, winning the United States Championship twice, the luchador needed to move on to a new challenger and string together some victories. Instead, we learned Monday that Kalisto and Del Rio will tangle once more over the U.S. title at Fastlane, which will actually be their fifth televised bout this year alone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKSqZRilT_A Theres really no reason to continue this feud, other than the writers dont have anything else for Kalisto to do as champion. Rather than using the next couple weeks to build a new feud to elevate Kalisto, theyll just have him tread water a little longer and hope he somehow doesnt lose steam.
