6. Five Months In The Making

Five months.

Weve been enduring vignettes and backstage segments of R-Truth and Goldust alternately trying to recruit an unwilling tag partner for five months. Weve been watching the two tease the formation of the Golden Truth for so long, that you would be excused if you assumed that WWE would just forget about it, much like the anonymous Raw GM.

But finally, we got to see Goldust and R-Truth tag together for the first time Monday, and they dominated the match against their former tag partners (respectively) Fandango and Tyler Breeze.

And then they lost. Because Truth inadvertently kicked Goldust.

So not only does this put this just-formed team in conflict, it took two young guys who were going to come out losers unless they won convincingly, and turned them into lucky chumps.
