Where was this match last night? After using video to show that Charlottes hand was under the ropes during her Figure Eight submission, Paige was able to lobby for a Divas Championship rematch on Raw. The two began with a slapfest and arguably showed more intensity Monday than they did in their title match at Survivor Series the night before. Paige worked the knee, but Charlotte continued to punch, chop and kick whenever she could, looking like a scrappy, wounded champ. Charlotte finally managed to spear Paige outside the ring, where they both were counted out, but Paige then showed that heightened intensity by throwing Charlotte into the ring steps and putting her in the PTO on the announce table. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEgpPgQLS20 So where was this match last night? Sure, PPVs are typically where you want an actual finish to the match, but if the feud was going to continue beyond Survivor Series, then this was the bout to put on, especially on the heels of the intense contract signing last week on Raw. A double countout, followed by Paige losing it on Charlotte outside the ring would have been a much more fiery ending that would have left fans wanting more, much like Mondays match did.
