2. Four-Minute Revolt
When the Divas Revolution started this summer, fans were optimistic that by bringing up three NXT women, the Divas division would finally focus on wrestling and get away from two-minute matches that ended with a distraction rollup. Monday night, we got to see the fruits of that revolution: a four-minute match that ended with a distraction rollup. At NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks tore down the house in an NXT Womens Championship match that lasted more than 15 minutes, with Banks retaining. Mondays bout between the two talented women barely lasted a quarter of that time and ended when Team BAD distracted Lynch and she stupidly went after Naomi. So the creative team finally listened to all the We want Sasha! chants and booked a match with Banks and then made it that shes incapable of winning without help. This came moments after the announcers gushed about her 30-minute Iron Woman match against Bayley at TakeOver: Brooklyn this summer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5idUB3rkfo Its just mind-numbing how incredibly patronizing WWEs writers can be, and the truth is, they probably dont even realize it.
