2. NWO Sting Or Fake Sting
WWE.comWhen your official name is "Fake Sting" then you know it's bad. This should have been a one show angle where WCW brought this guy in as the fake Sting, then had him get his ass kicked and be gone forever. Instead, the guy (real name Jeff Farmer) showed up and stuck around for about two years! Seriously. The whole "Fake Sting" idea was actually cool when they originally did it. Some fans were definitely confused by it because they thought that Sting had joined the NWO and it led to the major storyline where Sting wasn't trusted by people even though he was a true WCW guy. The problem is that they let this guy hang around for too long. Could you imagine telling your buddies that you're a pro wrestler and when they ask your name you have to explain that you have to dress up like somebody else every week because you're not a star on your own? Oh well. He was probably paid well. Don't complain if you're NWO Sting.
