7 WWE Face & Heel Turns That Must Happen In 2015

6. Cody Rhodes - Heel

It€™s a testament to Cody Rhodes€™ abilities that he has been able to take some truly shocking gimmicks and make them both believable and interesting. After a successful run in The Legacy with Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes was drafted to SmackDown in 2010 and developed his €˜Dashing€™ character, culminating in a high-profile victory over Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania XXVII (back when a victory over Mysterio actually meant something). His work during this period was stellar, and his promos about ugly fans and wrestlers got him real heat. He won the Intercontinental Championship twice before developing an alliance with Damien Sandow, and then turned face and teamed up with his half-brother Goldust. It was a nostalgic move that fans initially appreciated, and the two won the Tag Team Championships twice with Rhodes as his alter-ego Stardust. Since then they have floundered, as fans now wait for the inevitable split as Goldust nears retirement. How to do it: WWE have been teasing a split between The Dust Brothers for a few weeks now, but it€™s time to kick it up a notch. Next week on Raw, Cody should come out in his normal clothes, without the jumpsuit or face paint, and say that Goldust is a disgrace to the Rhodes family for trying to drag Cody into his world. When Goldust comes out to reply, Cody should attack him in the ring and demand a match against his half-brother to prove that he is superior. Goldust would initially decline, saying that he could never fight his own family, which would bring Dusty Rhodes into the mix. Dusty would tell Cody that he is the one disgracing the Rhodes name, but Cody would attack his father too. This would cause Goldust to snap and finally agree to a match at WrestleMania, where Cody would of course go over.
