7 WWE Superstars In Vince McMahon's Doghouse Right Now
5. Fandango
Fandango was a character that was hyped up huge when he debuted in early 2013. He got really hot around the time of WrestleMania 29 when he beat Chris Jericho, but then the limitations of the character took over. It's not like Johnny Curtis is a bad wrestler. He's solid. It's just that there's only so much you can do with a ballroom dancing character. It's been a rough year for the Fandango character. He had a good thing going with Summer Rae as his dance partner, then that ended and they put Layla with him. It was a solid pairing that should have lasted months. Instead, Layla ended up turning on him and joined up with Summer. Now those two women are a heel duo that isn't really going anywhere while Fandango has been taken off television for months. This Sunday at Survivor Series, it was mentioned that Fandango's going to be a part of the Kickoff Show and it looks like Rosa Mendes is going to be his dance partner. WWE is teasing that it's the "new and improved" Fandango. We'll see what that means. When the character first started, it was reported that Vince McMahon was very hands on helping him stand out from the pack. It worked for the initial run, but then things wore off. Now Fandango is at a crossroads. Time will tell if he can get out of the doghouse.
