8 Biggest Wastes Of Money In The Bank In WWE History
1. Baron Corbin (2017)
I must ask you to forgive the over-editorializing in such a disparaging tone. Rest-assured, this is not an attack on you or your viewpoints on certain wrestlers, but rather, the unhinged thoughts of a certain writer.
Baron Corbin is a f*cking load of w*nk, and a complete waste of time, with or without any title or accolade. Yeah, sure, he has an impressive looking signature and finisher, but otherwise, he's an absolute load of tosh who is only a continued presence in WWE because of his size, and in Vince McMahon's twisted world, that's a legitimate substitute for talent or charisma.
So naturally, when he won the Money in the Bank briefcase in 2017, it was met with the expected mixture of anger and indifference. We can only thank the deities above that he apparently garnered some heat backstage for some unwarranted comments made at a meeting about concussion research. Because of that, soon afterward, he lost his MiTB briefcase after losing his cash-in via roll-up by Jinder Mahal. Yes, the absolute geek champion defeated the other absolute geek in the geekiest manner possible.
No tears need to be cried of course, because it's Baron Corbin. But still, what an utter waste of the Money in the Bank concept.
