"Samoan Destroyer" is an uncomplicated anthem that offers audiences a moneymaker of a call-and-response in the opening seconds before then allowing them to soak up the potential terror and/or brilliance of Jacob Fatu himself as it builds subtly to a chorus/crescendo that sounds for all the world like a samoan tribe readying themselves for war.

Pounding, euphoric and so thrillingly to-the-point for a 2025 number, the theme might even deserve the lofty comparison to Stone Cold Steve Austin's in how it suits Fatu as a terrifying heel just as much it's starting to as potential babyface WWE Champion-elect, The almighty pulsating drums echoing throughout are there to be marched along with by the former/future United States titleholder, when he's not racing to the ring to batter some fool even quicker than he would normally. It's catchy in buildings but stands up to scrutiny in headphones too - details that might be lost amidst massive pops aren't dealbreakers for the theme, but feel like easter eggs when listening away from the live setting.

Ultimately, there may be the temptation to change this theme as the 'Samoan Werewolf' moves closer and closer to the top of the mountain, but here's hoping WWE stay the course with one of the few songs that has actually stuck. From debut through to potential crowning as the company's top star, it would reflect and end-to-end success story for the packaging and presentation of one of the few Samoans from the massive family tree that seemed stuck between can't-miss and can't-sign. Long live Jacob Fatu as the former rather than the latter
