After months of simmering tension between the two, Jacob Fatu finally had enough at last night's WWE Money in the Bank and turned his back on Solo Sikoa.

With Solo in the men's MITB match, Fatu and JC Mateo made their way out to initially assist Sikoa once Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker had interfered to help eventual winner Seth Rollins. However, that help from the Samoan Werewolf didn't last long.

Having urged Solo to climb a ladder and grab the Money in the Bank briefcase, Fatu had a change of heart and grabbed the Street Champ's leg before pulling him off that ladder. That was followed by Jacob hitting his ever-impressive Mighty Moonsault on his now-former-friend and then putting Sikoa through a ladder bridge outside the ring.

Of course, this comes on the back of Jacob Fatu overhearing Solo Sikoa mocking him to JC Mateo on Friday's SmackDown, where Solo said Fatu was "all gas, no brains" as a play on Jacob's "all gas, no brakes" catchphrase. That in itself came after brewing dissension in Solo's group dating back to before WrestleMania 41, with some fans even speculating that we may have seen Sikoa vs. Fatu at this year's Showcase of the Immortals. Obviously, that didn't come to pass - Jacob beating LA Knight for the US Title at 'Mania, Solo being absent from the card - but it felt like only a matter of time before things came to a head for the two.

For those familiar with Jacob Fatu for his pre-WWE work with the likes of MLW and House of Glory, they were well aware of just how ridiculously talented and charismatic the 33-year-old has long been. And those same fans predicted that it was only a matter of time before Fatu would become one of the most popular wrestlers in WWE. With crowds regularly cheering Jacob in recent months, he's essentially been a babyface-in-waiting for the last little while. And now, after turning his back on Solo Sikoa, that fully cements Fatu as a singles babyface act who has all the potential in the world to break out as one of the top stars in all of WWE.

Where this leaves Solo Sikoa, that remains to be seen. While he's already got JC Mateo at his side, could Solo look to add new names to his 'Bloodline', such as the already-signed-to-the-company Hikuleo or Lance Anoa'i? Could the injured duo of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa soon be cleared and set to return? Either way, Sikoa now has Jacob Fatu in his crosshairs and revenge on his mind.
