8 "Ends Of An Era" At WWE WrestleMania 33
1. A New "Big Dog"
The Royal Rumble marked The Undertaker's first match since WrestleMania 32, but it wasn't exactly a rousing success. With a bad hip keeping him from training and performing at his top capacity, he looked out of shape and largely immobile in the 30-man match. Suddenly, fans stopped clamoring to see him in a dream match at this year's WrestleMania.
Still, rumor has it that he'll be taking on Roman Reigns at the Show of Shows - and with all the speculation that 'Taker could be hanging it up after the match (he badly needs hip replacement surgery, which he's putting off until he retires), he could very well be passing the torch to Reigns this year.
Of course, WWE is concerned that the fan reception to Reigns beating Undertaker at WrestleMania will be overwhelmingly poor, and they're puportedly even considering turning him heel for that reason. Still, he's the long-term top face for WWE and as such, if Undertaker is really done, the company will want to give Reigns the ultimate rub on 'Taker's way out.
