8 HUGE WWE Day 1 2022 Predictions You Need To Know

6. RK-Bro (c) Vs. The Street Profits

With respect to "RK Bro-nament" winners Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, this battle for belts is less about their challenge and more to do with if the Champions are splitting up now or after the Royal Rumble.

The RK-Bro arc (Arc-K-Bro?) was starting to plateau before WWE unlocked a new layer as the year drew to a close. Having held the Tag Team Championships since SummerSlam, Randy Orton at long last appears to see what he has in doofus partner Riddle, cementing their bond as stronger than ever.

Losing the titles - or losing an opportunity at the title at the Rumble - will surely bring about their demise. Unlike Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax' protracted forced friendship, it seems certain these two will be on a collision course as and when this prized period comes to an end.

It's not entirely implausible that the walls could crumble here, but the Road To WrestleMania beckons, and WWE may want that larger story to play out when the most eyes are watching. The company are looking for headlines coming out of the inaugural Day 1, but this doesn't quite feel like it'll be one of them.

Winners - RK-Bro
