8 HUGE WWE Night Of Champions 2023 Predictions You Need To Know

1. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn (c) Vs. The Bloodline

This is a biggie.

The Bloodline had looked to be running on fumes after Roman Reigns’ title retention and post-WrestleMania disappearance. The Usos’ failure to reclaim the Tag Team Championships from Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn compounded the problem - was the abusive gaslighting tyrant ‘Head Of Table’ actually correct in his assertions that his cousins would be nothing without him?

As it’s turned out, not entirely.

Due to senselessly defeating Cody Rhodes, he’s got more credibility than he should in the face of Jimmy and Hey at present. But Solo Sikoa is, in every sense, a different beast. And based on a fleeting exchange between the pair two weeks out from this latest monster tag team main event, he’s one even the ‘Tribal Chief’ has no choice but to respect. All until Sikoa eats a pinfall loss here.

In a contest which should turn up the heat between Reigns and his newest favourite Bloodline run-in buddy, Owens and Zayn can score a major victory to seal the door shut on their hostilities with the group. This match as is good as the feud still gets, and the finish should feel like it has consequences because it really looks like it will on paper.

If Sikoa loses, he joins Sami Zayn in being a partner that forced a blemish on to Reigns’ otherwise perfect post-2020 record. And look how that turned out for the former ‘Honorary Uce”. If Roman Reigns at long last takes a loss in a match he’s specifically using to try and make a cruel point to The Usos over, expect Sikoa to be in the firing line. Just don’t expect him to necessarily take it lying down.

It’s not cinema, but at least it feels like wheels and reels are spinning again.

Winners - Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
