Yes, I'm aware that these two men are close friends. But even close friends can have their share of disputes, and at least one of these disputes between Chris Jericho and former WWE star Shane Helms has turned violent. Just days before the 2010 Royal Rumble the Kentucky police received a report of two men fighting in a car. When they arrived on scene they found Chris Jericho and Shane Helms extremely intoxicated and brawling in the backseat of a vehicle. They had been in town for a live event in Cincinnati, Ohio the previous night. The two were charged with public intoxication and released after a few hours in jail and a fine. The story became even more bizarre when it was revealed that a woman was allegedly struck while being caught in the middle of the melee. In a later incident, Helms went on one of many rants toward Shawn Michaels, who has a strong dislike for. He's publicly railed on The Heartbreak Kid numerous times, and the most recent came on the heels of HBK's Hall of Fame induction. Helms said "The HOF is great but I take more pride and comfort in the fact that I've never 'screwjobbed' ANYONE in life or the biz! $$$ isn't everything." Jericho, being a big supporter of Michaels, defended his idol by calling him the greatest in-ring performer of all-time. The Hurricane wasn't having any of that and things got personal when he responded: "If u got something to say, say it public. Enough *ss-kissing. He wasn't the greatest when he was cussing u out in catering." Helms went on to compare Michaels to Ric Flair - the man he asserts is the greatest - before automatically losing the argument via Godwin's Law when he compared Shawn Michaels to Hitler.
