3. Bray Wyatt Vs. The Miz

Oh no. Oh no, no, no.

The Fiend is farcical, but the in-ring debut of Firefly Fun House Bray Wyatt was almost as awful, just not definitively, antagonistically so. The Miz made his entrance, as Corey Graves spoke of him being "shaken". This wasn't reflected in his body language, obviously, because every WWE Superstar must perform their entrance gesture-for-gesture irrespective of mentality or arc or opponent or anything else.

The story of the match was thus: Mankind - sorry, Bray Wyatt - enjoys pain, where the Undertaker - sorry, the Fiend - is impervious to it. "Take it easy," he told the Miz early, before laughing at the pain he sought to inflict. This was realistic, since so few take Miz's babyface offence seriously. On the subject of which, Miz cosplayed as Pentagón Jr. by doing the arm-breaker spot, for f*ck's sake, and taking a goddamn eternity to do it.

"You're sick! You're sick! You love the pain! You're deranged!" Vince McMahon briefed Wyatt in the production meeting.

There is obviously a great deal of depth not covered above, but there obviously isn't: how did decoding those cryptic 2013 promos work out for the intrepid sleuths out there? Is Liv Morgan having a nice Sister Abigail, aye?

In the end, Wyatt sidestepped Miz, took over, and just won with Sister Abigail before Daniel Bryan returned looking like he was in 2012, in the face, and in 2016 behind the eyes.

It's genius, don't you get it? Wyatt was awful between 2013 and 2018, and so he was awful here!

Yes, really enjoyed those five years of my life, thanks.
