4. Roman Reigns Vs. Baron Corbin - TLC Match

A TLC match - or an equally tedious Ganryujima Island Death match?

This epic of a match-cum-angle, the vast majority of which went mercifully unfilmed, saw King Corbin and Roman Reigns make precious use of a stipulation that might have actually elevated it into the realm of the watchable. The match portion of this...thing was a King Corbin Vs. Roman Reigns match with some uncreative plunder elements thrown in, the fleeting highlight of which saw Corbin drill Reigns with a fantastic version of his fantastic Deep Six signature. Beyond that, this was overlong, bland, and boring - and also, for added value, totally anticlimactic and nonsensical. Two notable use of weapons - not Tables, Ladders nor Chairs in this Tables, Ladders and Chairs match - were overdone and goofy-as-sh*t, respectively. Corbin used the barricade (yawn) and tin of dog food (angry yawn) in a bid to put the Big Dog down.

The cult of personality is strong within Corbin, who has seemingly hired a fleet of personal security and is so magnetic that he can order the midcard rank-and-file to do his bidding. He has power vested in him by an unknown source, and has the Bantz to pull in about, at latest count, 12 associates this year.

At the finish, Dolph Ziggler and the Revival handed him the win. Roman Reigns does have friends, but those friends only help him out when the script demands it, rendering the whole thing a tedious, unbelievable mess that must go on.
