This past week, Stephanie McMahon poured fuel on the fire hinting at a wrestling role for recently retired NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski, noting in a congratulatory tweet that WWE doors are "always open" to a crossover candidate of his calibre.

A move to the Performance Center for the sports star seems a done deal, then, and there'd be some poetry were he to make a big introductory splash in WrestleMania 35's Andre. Two years ago, Gronkowski literally jumped to friend and fellow former footballer Mojo Rawley's aid, helping him eliminate Jinder Mahal to win 2017's version of the battle royal. With the Hype Bro. currently not pencilled in for next Sunday's festivities, don't be too surprised to see him accompany his pal Gronk to ring as the final entrant.

He could very well return the favour - or, for the sake of some debut heat, cost him.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
